A client ownes a condo in Breckenridge, CO. He wanted a ski storage area in the condo, but wanted it to be "something artsy" in his words. He also requested I use a combination of ski holders by "Gravity Grabber" and the Pine Beetle wood that had killed a lot of Pine trees years ago, but provided this unique blue stain look.
I took inspiration from the patch jobs that happen on old barns and put together this arrangement of lumber. It took a while to figure out how to bring the design together.
It took some patience, but eventually I came up with this design and it really fit into the look of the condo.
Here are the other pieces I have made for the condo. A bench, overhead cabinet for helmets, duffles, coats, etc. And a small cabinet to store electronic equipment.
